Traveling Tales: A (Rainy) Goa Vacation

So, it’s time indeed for another vacation! Woohoo! Rainy Goa, here I come. Well, I would technically be in Goa by the time this post goes up – I will be scheduling this post because I just want to avoid missing out on things I want to talk about.

I’m writing this post a couple of hours before we (my husband, a few friends and I) take off to a beautiful condo in South Goa, and I’m staring at my bookshelf, still wondering what books I should take with me.

At the top of my list are Paula Hawkins’ The Girl on the Train, with a cover review by SJ Watson, the author of Before I go to Sleep *goosebumps*, Mario Puzo’s The Godfather, Neil Gaiman’s Anansi Boys, and Rick Yancey’s The Infinite Sea.

The first two books were supposed to have been finished a month ago, but I didn’t get around to it because I started books like Cinder and Anne of Avonlea, both of which I finished recently. I had kind of decided that I would not do another of Neil Gaiman’s books this year because I had already done quite a few, like Ocean at the End of the Lane, Coraline and The Graveyard Book. But, I cannot stop myself now. And, well, as for Rick Yancey’s The Infinite Sea, it’s the only other interesting non-Neil Gaiman book on my bookshelf that I haven’t read yet. *sigh*

Which of these books do you think I should carry with me? Let me know. Like I mentioned earlier, by the time this post goes up, I would have already packed the books and reached Goa. But, I’d love to hear your recommendations nevertheless! Also, since I obsess over whether I have carried enough books, it’s likely I may even have carried 2 to 3 of them!

Be back soon!

PS: I may not have access to Wi-Fi where I’m staying – if that’s the case, I may be able to see/reply to comments only once I’m back on Tuesday. But definitely will! 🙂
