Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated Releases For The Second Half Of The Year

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s featured topic is Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For The Second Half Of The Year. Considering the fact that we are smack in the middle of the year, this post is apt. So, without further ado, let me hop right into the list that I have made:

1. The Last Days of New Paris by China Miéville

China Miéville has combined historical events, people and art with his imagination to come up with a story where secrets and nightmares are unravelled.

2. What Do You Do with a Problem? by Kobi Yamada

When ignoring a problem is no longer a viable option, what do you do? Kobi Yamada tells the story of a boy who has a problem that just doesn’t seem to go away.

3. The Building Boy by Ross Montgomery (Author) and David Litchfiels (Illustrator)

Tucked under children’s books, The Building Boy is a story that explores a boy’s adventures with his grandmother, who was an architect.

4. Cuckoo by Keren David

This is a story about a young man, who is a popular actor, who faces many overpowering issues with his family. His trials make him feel like a cuckoo that has no nest.

5. Treasure Hunters: Peril at the Top of the World by James Patterson (Author), Chris Grabenstein (Author) and Juliana Neufeld (Illustrator)

Welcome to a day in the life of the Kidd family and their unimaginable adventures. Seeing as it is from James Patterson, I can’t wait to get my hands on this book.

6. Truly Madly Guilty Liane Moriarty

A seemingly perfect day turns into all shades of imperfection for three families, who go on a picnic together. The essence of family life is uncovered by Liance Moriarty in Truly Madly Guilty.

Well, the list ends here, because no amount of researching on Goodreads, Amazon and a bunch of other sites showed me titles that I would actually like to explore. Most of them seemed to be continuations of book series that I have not yet started following, or don’t intend to follow in the near future; or, they were stories that did not resonate too deeply with me. So, I leave you with what started as a Top Ten list, but ended up being a meager Top Seven. Nevertheless, hope you all enjoyed!
